Welcome to the Costa Rican BioDental Community!

Our online community is built upon respectful dialogue, collaboration, and a shared interest in holistic well-being. By participating in our online spaces, you agree to uphold the following principles:

1. Respectful Interactions
   • Kindness and Consideration: Treat all members with courtesy, respect, and understanding. While constructive discussions are encouraged, any form of personal attacks, insults, or harassment will not be accepted.
   • Inclusivity: We do not tolerate discriminatory language or actions related to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic. Hate speech is strictly forbidden.
     
     
2. Focused Discussions
   • Relevance: Please ensure your contributions are relevant to the current topic or discussion thread. Off-topic posts can disrupt the flow of conversation. If you have a new idea or topic, please find or create an appropriate space for it.
   • No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion: Avoid posting advertisements, promotional material, or excessive self-promotion outside of designated areas, if any.
     
     
3. Maintaining a Safe Environment
   • Harassment and Bullying: Any form of harassment, intimidation, or bullying, whether through private messages or public posts, is strictly prohibited. This includes stalking, threats, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.
   • No Trolling: Do not engage in disruptive behavior intended to provoke, annoy, or deliberately make others uncomfortable.
     
     
4. Encouraging Growth
   • Constructive Input: Offer feedback and suggestions in a helpful and thoughtful manner. When discussing content or ideas, focus on the topic itself rather than making personal judgments.
   • Openness to Feedback: Be receptive to feedback from others, recognizing that it can be an opportunity for learning and improvement.
     
     
5. Protecting Privacy
   • No Doxxing: Do not share private or personally identifiable information about others without their explicit consent. This includes private messages, home addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive data.
     
     
6. Adherence to Laws
   • Legal and Ethical Content: Do not post any content that promotes illegal activities, infringes upon copyrights, or is otherwise unlawful.
     
     
7. Keeping Our Spaces Respectful
   • Appropriate Content: Refrain from posting inappropriate, explicit, or offensive content, including depictions of violence, pornography, or anything unsuitable for a diverse and family-friendly audience.
   • Sensitive Topics: Avoid discussing graphic or insensitive material such as acts of violence, sexual assault, suicide/self-harm, school shootings, and similar serious topics, as well as racial slurs, sexist, or homophobic remarks.
     
     
8. Moderation Guidelines
   • Moderator Authority: Our moderators are here to ensure a positive and safe community experience. They have the authority to remove posts, ban users, or take other necessary actions to enforce these guidelines. If you have any concerns, please contact a moderator privately.
   • Respect for Moderators: Insulting or being disrespectful towards moderators after a warning may result in expulsion from the community.
     
     
9. Addressing Issues Responsibly
   • Report, Don’t Engage: If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please use the reporting tools available. Do not engage with or escalate the situation yourself.
     
     
10. Authenticity and Respect for Anonymity
    • Respectful Use of Identities: While pseudonyms may be permitted, avoid impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity. If you choose to share your real identity, please respect the choices of others who prefer to remain anonymous.
