Bone Grafting
Yes, the bone grafting material can be Kosher as it may be derived from a combination of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRF) and your own bone instead of from porcine and/or equestrian sources.
Implants
The difference between zirconium and titanium implants is that zirconia is a non-metal white ceramic while titanium is a metallic material. In addition, zirconia has less bacterial plaque formation compared with titanium for protection against perio-implantitis (implant failure).

Fee's & Charges
We do not generally provide any type of financing, however, should you require, we can help you secure credit from a financial entity.
Regarding methods of payment, we accept almost any type of payment, like credit or debit cards, PayPal or bank transfers and cash. We do not accept checks as it a complicated process to cash them in Costa Rica when they come from a foreign bank. We usually process the payment of 50% of the total at the beginning of treatment and the remaining 50% at the end.
Pain Management
This type of sedation induces an altered state of consciousness that minimizes pain and discomfort through the use of pain relievers and sedatives. Patients, who receive conscious sedation usually are able to speak and respond to verbal cues throughout the procedure, communicating any discomfort they experience to the provider. A brief period of amnesia may erase any memory of the procedure.
Our patients receive local dental anesthetic without Epinephrine, Nitrous oxide, Intervenous Conscious Sedation and Transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation.
Transportation
Yes. We can help you find the cheapest flights on either Spirit, Southwest, US, American, JetBlue, and/or Delta.
We do offer private transportation from the airport to your accommodations, the cost for this service is $30.
Scheduling
The 4-6 month wait time is a requisite for any implant procedure and allows for the complete integration (osseointegration) of the implant into the bone.
The days will depend on the treatment plan you have. We always recommend you to stay at least 5 business days but some treatments may require longer.

During the 4-6 month period, it will be ideal for you to eat only soft foods, however, most patients will be able to eat whatever they can cut with a fork.
Ideally, all of the work would be done in one visit providing that at the time of implant placement the maxillofacial surgeon is able to achieve the minimum insertion torque required. If the torque is good enough the temporary fixed bridges could be placed, if the torque is not good enough then a removable denture will be needed as a temporary.
